Amman, Jordan's capital, is a rapidly growing city with a history extending back at least 5,000 years. Despite its long history, most of Amman is quite new, having been built after World War II. The city is draped over several hills, has a bustling souk (marketplace), and numerous museums, art galleries, theaters, and cinemas. Amman is cosmopolitan, with inhabitants from all over the Middle East. The city provides a safe and stable environment while offering many opportunities for students to learn about the region.
If you’re interested in beginning your study of Arabic, or taking your advanced language skills to the next level, come discover Jordan this summer.
