Program Overview USAC Madrid Summer

Madrid is a fascinating city and has a vibrant culture that provides the perfect setting for language study or art history studies. PSU students can participate in the summer session II program, which is a 4-week session. You will choose courses in academic areas including Intensive Language and Art History Studies. Classes are taught at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos Vicálvaro Campus, which is inviting, modern, and student-friendly. It provides a great learning and social atmosphere.

Program Focus

PSU students can participate in the summer session II program, earning 3 to 5 semester credits (5 to 8 quarter credits). Take advantage of this study abroad opportunity, and learn how studying abroad can be a more meaningful and invigorating learning experience than at home—both inside and outside of the classroom—because you will be in a different place. You may be more curious and alert than you usually are; use this heightened energy to enhance your studies as well as your cultural and geographical explorations. This program offers Spanish Language and Literature intensive classes, along with the option of taking Art History, Business/Political Science, and Cultural Studies classes.
