With 10 million inhabitants, Seoul takes its place among the world’s great metropolitan areas. As the political and economic center of Korea, it is a fascinating venue from which to study Korea's increasingly important role in global politics and business. Seoul is blessed with an abundance of museums, cultural and entertainment opportunities, offering great opportunities to the student wanting to be at the crossroads of Asian cultures.

Program Focus

Ewha Womans University is ranked as one of the top five Korean universities. A comprehensive university, Ewha’s international programs and its continuing education programs are open to male and female students. The international education program at Ewha is noted for its strong offerings in Korean language and culture, as well as highly personalized program offerings. 

Almost all courses offered at Ewha are open to exchange and visiting students. Graduate students can also take graduate courses with permission of the professor. Ewha’s Korean language program offers classes at five different levels from beginner to advanced.

In addition, Ewha offers a broad range of 100-200 level courses taught in English, including topics in Korean Studies, Asian Studies, Art & Design, Art History, Asian Studies, Business, Economics, Geography, Ideology and Culture, International Studies, Literature, Media Studies, Music, Politics, Psychology, Religion, Social Welfare, Sociology, Women’s Studies, and more.

In addition to the program offered during the academic year, Ewha Womans University also offers a summer program.  Celebrating its 45th year as Korea's oldest international co-ed summer program, the Ewha International Co-Ed Summer College Program brings together an incredibly diverse group of students to experience the best of Korea through academic study and cultural immersion. With unrivaled academic excellence and an international student body, Ewha is the place to experience authentic Korean university life. Well-known for its strong academic programs, Ewha ICSC offers courses providing core knowledge in Korean Studies, Women’s Studies, International Studies, Fine Arts, Business and Economics, Humanities, and more. Courses are taught by leading faculty from Ewha and top universities abroad, and during the program students participate in a variety of hands-on field trips that complement their learning, all while experiencing the exciting student life on campus and in Shinchon, Korea’s most vibrant student neighborhood.

Application Fee:
All applications include a $50 non-refundable fee due on the application deadline. Students who do not intend to complete a program application are required to withdraw before the deadline, otherwise, the $50 application fee will
be assessed to the students' account.
