Program Description:

Program OverviewOUS Queretaro Mexico Sum

Approximately 125 miles to the northwest of Mexico City, Queretaro is known for its strong colonial architectural presence. During the Spanish rule, this city became so important that it was named "the third city of the kingdom", after Mexico City and Puebla. This city, with a population of approximately 700,000, is known as a calm place, with no civil unrest, low crime, and a relatively high standard of living. Queretaro has a reputation for being among the cleanest cities in all of Mexico.

Program Focus

Students receive excellent Spanish language instruction from basic to advanced levels. In addition, students can choose from courses designed for international students, or, if Spanish language proficiency is high enough, students may select from a wider range of regular university courses. This downtown campus offers great support for visiting international students.
