Program Description:

Program OverviewCIMBA Italy Palermo Del Grappa

The Consortium Institute for Management and Business Analysis (CIMBA) is an internationally-recognized study abroad institute that trains future professional leaders. The CIMBA campus is located in the quaint, Italian town of Paderno del Grappa, which is about an hour north of Venice.  At the base of picturesque Mount Grappa, the program is located on the campus of the Instituto Filipin, a private Italian boarding school. Experience the unparalleled setting of CIMBA while living in one of the most vital business regions in the country. The Veneto region is one of Italy’s most thriving regions with international firms such as Benneton, Geox, and Luxottica. The region is well known for its successful entrepreneurs. The campus offers students the cultural experience of living in a small Italian community while providing access to the celebrated art and historical treasures of the Veneto region. The full-service facility includes residence halls, a cafeteria,  private bathrooms,  laundry, and athletic facilities.

The Consortium consists of 36 universities from across the United States who collectively provide support for CIMBA’s academic programs. This enables students to easily transfer courses to their home institutions. Participants enroll in CIMBA through the University of Iowa as non-degree seeking students and receive credit and an official transcript from the University of Iowa. Students from universities outside of the Consortium are welcome to attend the program.

Program Focus

The CIMBA program offers semester study abroad opportunities with rigorous, high quality, professional courses taught in English.
