We're so excited that you are thinking about studying abroad for the summer with IFSA-Butler at King's College London. King's is one of the oldest and largest colleges of the University of London located in the heart of London. We're sure you're going to love studying there!

  • One of the oldest, largest and most prestigious colleges of the University of London (UL), located in the heart of the city, overlooking the Thames
  • King's is a member of Britain's Russell Group of universities, similar to the Ivy League, and offers a wide range of liberal arts, sciences, and engineering courses
  • Shakespeare's London module combines a course in Shakespeare with a hands-on, three-week class at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre — this popular module fills quickly!
  • A competitive premed program designed to introduce students to the general practice of medicine and is suitable for all students pursuing further education in the healthcare field
  • Access to the University of London's excellent teaching and research facilities,  an active student union, more than 200 sports and student societies, and the neighborhoods of the West End, Covent Garden, and Soho

Housing
  • King's College London houses summer students in one of three student apartment buildings, all within walking distance of classes
  • Both apartment options offer single rooms with private bathrooms, shared kitchen facilities and 24-hour security
  • Students purchase or prepare their own meals; additionally, they will receive a small meal allowance to use at campus dining.
Academics
  • Choose from a wide range of liberal arts, business, and social sciences courses
  • Students take one course per session, each worth 3 U.S. semester credit hours

Application Fee:
All applications include a $50 non-refundable fee due on the application deadline. Students who do not intend to complete a program application are required to withdraw before the deadline, otherwise, the $50 application fee will
be assessed to the students' account.
