Program Description:

Program OverviewCIEE Intensive Language

The vibrant political and cultural center of Taiwan (officially the Republic of China) and an economic hub in East Asia, Taipei is a unique blend of Chinese, Japanese, and Western influences. Explore it from the top of one of the tallest buildings in the world, Taipei 101, to the sprawling night markets. Stop in one of the ancient temples for a look into the past, and relax in the hot springs for respite in the middle of the bustle. There’s plenty to do wherever you go – and no shortage of inspiration.

Program Focus

This summer, explore Taiwan’s role in the world economy and learn about the cross-straits relationship between Taiwan and China at one of the top-rated business schools in Asia. Your business courses will be taught in English, but you’ll have plenty of time to learn some Chinese while you explore Taiwanese culture, eating traditional dumplings, trekking to the top of one of the tallest buildings in the world, and soaking your feet in the area’s relaxing hot springs.
