Program Overview

CIEE Cape Town

“The Mother City,” as it’s sometimes known, is a proudly diverse location that serves as a major commercial center in Africa. In Cape Town, opportunities abound in a variety of sectors, from microfinance to medicine and everything in between. Enjoy the breathtaking views, luxurious beaches, watersports and nightlife in this multilingual, multicultural, and student-friendly environment.

Program Focus

As a global intern in Cape Town, you’ll work in a non-paying position within a wide range of opportunities across a diverse set of innovative industries. Co-curricular excursions and cultural activities in and around Cape Town complement your coursework and immerse you in the history and culture of the city.

Application Fee:
All applications include a $50 non-refundable fee due on the application deadline. Students who do not intend to complete a program application are required to withdraw before the deadline, otherwise, the $50 application fee will
be assessed to the students' account.
